Goddess Boot Camp by Tera Lynn Childs (Review)

Goddess Boot CampSee My Review on Oh. My. Gods. HERE!
Spoiler Alerts, if you haven't read Oh. My. Gods.

SYNOPSIS:
Phoebe recently discovered she’s a descendent of Nike (the goddess, not the shoe), and now she's finding out that supernatural powers come with a crazy learning curve. Her new stepfather, headmaster of the Academy for descendants of Greek gods, has enrolled her in Dynamotheos Development Camp—aka Goddess Boot Camp—with a bunch of ten-year-olds for the summer. Embarrassing as that is, hopefully it’ll help her get control of her powers in time to pass the test of the gods, continue training hard enough to qualify for the Pythian Games (the only sporting event bigger than the Olympics), and enjoy her godly boyfriend, Griffin, all while avoiding getting smoted for accidental misuse of powers! It’s another fast-paced myth-inspired heroine’s quest that’s sure to bring out the goddess in anyone.

MY REVIEW:
Alright, another book by Tera Lynn Childs and I'm hoping many more to  go! I loved Goddess Boot Camp just as much as Oh. My. Gods. and if you love the Percy Jackson series then you will love this series too! Straight up before I get into this review, it will be a babbler like the other one, just because that's how excited I am. But on with it.

I'm going to skip  over doing a character summary since I did that in my Oh. My. Gods. review.

In Goddess Boot Camp Phoebe and her friends are back, several months after Oh. My. Gods. ended for the summer. Having decided to stay on the island for the summer and for another school year, Phoebe needs to get control over he new Nike powers or go face to face with the Olympian Gods. Damien (her step father) enlists Phoebe in Goodess Boot Camp, run by Stella, Adara and the sexy expelled Xander (love the name). The question that follows is Phoebe going to be able to deal with Adara? Will she get her powers under control? Oh don't worry Griffin is still around too, and adds in his hunky form to the action, as he and Phoebe train for the Pythian Games and go through some bumps on the road of love. Even Nicole and Troy are still around, and in the end helps Phoebe solve one big mystery. And by the way this happens when Damien and Phoebe's mom are on their honeymoon (Awwww....).

I loved this book and Oh. My. Gods, and the mysteries and action that occur in the second novel make it in my mind better than the first, but thats my thought. If you haven't already picked up Goddess Boot Camp or Oh. My. Gods. I suggest you run to the bookstore now! Seriously, they are wonderful, they had me laughing and crying at the same time. I love the cover too! makes it seem like Phoebe is flying a bit.
