Oh.My.Gods. by Tera Lynn Childs (Review)

Oh. My. Gods.SYNOPSIS:

If Phoebe Castro can keep her grades up and have another stellar cross-country season, her dream of attending USC with her best friends is only a track scholarship away. She’s made all her plans, so it’s a complete shock when her mom announces she’s marrying a mysterious stranger and moving them half-way around the world—to Greece.
Phoebe’s stuck on a secret island in the Aegean attending the super-exclusive Academy, where her new stepfather is the headmaster and the kids are anything but your average students—they are descendants of the Greek gods, super powers included. That’s right, Greek gods are no myth! If Phoebe thought high school was hard, she knows this is going to be mortal misery.
Securing that scholarship seems like Phoebe’s only ticket out of Greece, but training and maintaining her grades will be grueling, even without a sabotaging stepsister from Hades and a gorgeous guy—what a god!—who just might be her Achilles heel. One thing is for sure—summoning the will to win and find her place among the gods could be Phoebe’s toughest course yet.
The Greek gods get a makeover in this romantic odyssey of mythic proportion.
MY REVIEW:
I'm just going to say Oh. My. Gods! Because seriously this book is an OMG book. I loved this book, and now being into the second one I can't wait to finish that one either. Tera Lynn Childs is an amazing writer and I can't wait to dig further into Goddess Boot Camp and to get Forgive My Fins. Adding to the OMG is the fact these were my first signed books I've ever gotten (more here....). But this book was amazing!

I loved Phoebe, she was a spunky, amazingly funny character to read about, and made this story go about five times faster while reading it. In her situation, meaning having to move half way across the world, I wouldn't be able to do that. Especially keep in touch with her best friends like she does. Phoebe is a great character, and I love her. She's my new favorite character to read about! There are a ton of other minor characters like Griffin, Nicole, Troy, Cesca, Nola, her mom, Damian and evil Adara (who I dislike one hundred percent). All of them played a major role in Phoebe's life! Griffin is at first an arrogant jerk, but on the inside he's a great person. Nicole, holds old wrongs still, and when it comes to protecting herself and friends she'll do anything. While, Troy is a wonderful compassionate boy that wants to beat to his own drum. Cesca and Nola are Phoebe's best friends from LA that are amazing; I especially like Nola because she's an environmental freak, while Cesca (love her name) is a fashionista.  Her mom and Damian are the parents nothing more to say. Then Adara, I dislike her, mean person, that is Stella's best friend.

Okay I feel like I'm rambling, but I loved this book, nothing more to say! Everyone that loves fantasy (especially Greek mythology) and romance should read this book! Tera Lynn Childs is an amazing author and I want to read more. :) Okay this is a very rambling review.....

Sounds like a fun read! I've been reading the Percy Jackson books recently and so the Greek God thing is really appealing to me!
