Today I get to take a stab at Ky my lovely affiliate, knowing her so well, I got a very good reaction from her in the random questions section.
Name: Ky
Blog Name: Can't Find a Bookmark
Blog URL: http://findabookmark.blogspot.com/
Andrea: Tell us a little about yourself, the blogger behind the blog.
Ky: First and foremost I am an extremely goofy person. I laugh at just about anything and am often the source of amusement for others. I am a huge movie buff and enjoy reciting lines from movies to anyone who will listen. Most of the time they don't really have a choice. ^.^ I am OCD to the extreme about my books (as you could probably imagine) and have my own personal little library. I'm an art freak and a band geek! FTW! I've always loved to draw and at the beginning of highschool I became rather obsessive about it. I think I've taken just about every single art class my school has to offer. In the future I hope to combine my artistic abilities with my love of books. I'd love to do cover art or design websites. :)
Andrea Inserts Comment- This is why I love this girl. She is like a sister from another state.
Andrea: What's your blog exactly about? What do you typically post about.
Ky: Well the name of my blog is definitely true. I can NEVER find a bookmark! I always wound up using price tags from clothing or old receipts. I kid you not. I was that bad. I had one of those sweet magnetic bookmarks right? Lost it. I STILL don't know where that ran off to. :( My mother, thinking she was funny, went out and bought me a bookmark. Hardy har har. I haven't lost it yet! Yet... Aside from my random ramblings (cough) I mostly just do reviews on my blog. I used to be heavily into doing meme's but honestly I got tired of doing them. Maybe I'll pick one or two back up eventually. Doubtful... but there's a slim chance. Lol.
Andrea: Do you have any book in particular that you would save in a fire or bring on a deserted island?
Ky: What I can't take ALL of them?! I hate these type of questions. It's not even fair. I think I can narrow it down to three. Peeps by Scott Westerfeld, because no matter how many times I read it, it can make me laugh so hard I cry. It's the most epic mixture of humor, science, romance, and action. It's just amazing. The Night Angel Trilogy would definitely be on my list! Okay so I cheated a little bit. It's a trilogy. Sue me. If I was a creeper, I would stalk Brent Weeks. He is that amazing. Those books I can just rave about for hours on end. I would even go as far as to say that they are my all time favorite trilogy/series and that is really saying something. Ugh only one more! I would probably have to go with The Haunting of Alaizabel Cray by Chris Wooding. This book just baffles me when I try to describe it or assign it into a genre. I just can't do it. It's an amazing mix of dark magic, steampunk, gothic horror, and just a little bit of romance. Ah-mazing! I fell head over heels for it when my friend let me borrow it because she had too many books to read from the library. I've been a fan-girl ever since. Phew! That was hard! Never make me decide again! :(
Andrea: Music is a part of Loud Words and Sounds, so does it take part in any aspect of your blog? If not what's some of the bands or artists you love listening too.
Ky: It doesn't take a huge part of my blog. I used to do "What I'm Head Banging To" on my sidebar but I took that down. Only if a band has REALLY made an impression on me do I ever rave about them in a blog post. This question is a tad easier. I listen to any music from J-Pop to screamo/techno. The only genres of music that I will absolutely NOT listen to is country, rap, death metal, or hard core screamo. Just gah. Never. The genre's I love most would probably have to be alternative and indie. Though I have a soft spot for oldies. Beatles FTW! I'm going to try and pick bands from different genre's of music to list here. My favorites currently would be: Neon Trees, Shiny Toy Guns, Phoenix, The Sounds, Goo Goo Dolls, And Then There Were None, A Love Like Pi, Tokyo Police Club, U2, And They Might Be Giants, Basshunter... and I better stop. Or else I might continue. O.O I just have too many. Lol.
