Hi Everyone! I would like to give a BIG THANK YOU to Andrea for letting be apart of her Thanks to the 1st event! I'm so happy to be here today and we are gonna talk about my favorite time of the year FALL and THANKSGIVING!!!=)
Okay so November is here and what I like best about this time is that you can start to feel the holiday spirit in the air. What I mean is that everything starts to change from the weather *depending where you are from*, fashion, food, decorations, t.v. specials *Charlie Brown Thanksgiving* and how you feel inside *at least I do*. I get excited when Halloween kicks off the the holidays and next up Thanksgiving which is my favorite Holiday of all=) Actually Fall is definitely my favorite season! I live in Chicago so I get all seasons but when fall comes along it's absolutely beautiful. The trees are so abundant where I live so it's so gorgeous when the leaves change to different fall colors like orange, red and yellow which just brightens up the day:) The fall fashions this year are so cute with tall boots, shawl collared sweaters, decorative tights, scarves and hats:) Hmmmm...makes me want to go shopping, lol! Another important reason I love this time of the year is because of being able to get together with family and friends I mean with everyone being so busy it's nice to be able to have a great dinner and enjoy each other. Okay I guess another really important reason I love love love Thanksgiving is for the home cooked dinner my mom whips up which includes turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, fresh veggies, fresh rolls, stuffing and because I'm Hispanic we make Spanish rice as well *my mouth is watering just thinking about it* and for dessert well pumpkin pie of course;) Now that I got everyone hungry *lol* how about you tell me what you like about Fall...Thanksgiving, any traditions that you and your family might do or simply what you are just thankful for? Let me know in a comment below! =)
